Sugar & Spice in Sugarfactory - Amsterdam (2015 - 2016)

Summer 2015 Black Star Foundation started a new reggae event in Amsterdam (Holland)! Sugar & Spice takes place in the Sugarfactory, the event is brought to you by Black Star Foundation in cooperation with Back-A-Wall Movement and Leah Rosier!

Sugar & Spice is a (for now 2-monthly) reggae event with different DJ's (selectors), MC's and singers. We have a pool of DJ's/artists: 

• Black Star Sound (DJ, Amsterdam)
• Back-A-Wall Movement (DJ, Medemblik)
• Jahforth (MC, Jamaica/Amsterdam)
• Leah Rosier (singer, Amsterdam)
• 
  
• This will be enough to make a full programme, but we still choose to invite guest artists every now and then, so we can offer the public a consistant but also diverse programme.
• Be early: the party starts at 20:00 till 24:00! Entrance fee is €5 only. From midnight, another (dance) event will take place. Visitors can still stick around.
• There is a big smokers area (also exhibition) on the first floor!

• The first edition took place on 10 september 2015 and it was a big success! The next edition will be the official release party of 'Lovely Girl' riddim (Black Star label) with included the release of the new single/videoclip of 'Rude Boy' by Leah Rosier.
