Black Prophet goes Dutch again (summer 2005)

Summer 2005 Black Prophet (Ghana) came to Holland for the second time. Black Star Foundation worked hard to build up a professional music career for this African artist in the Western world.

During the 3 months Black Prophet was in Holland, Black Star Foundation helped him in his musical career by introducing him to different people in the music industry in Holland, like reggae bands and musicians, producers, publishers and A&R managers, but also by giving him advise, support and management. Black Prophet did some shows and recordings of 2 years before (summer 2003) were finalised and new tunes have been recorded in the studio of Bart Heideman (dance producer).

For DJ Den-Den (Black Star Sound) a dubplate was recorded by Black Prophet and the famous Jamaican singer Mikey General. This wonderful tune 'Master of your Destiny' will be played on all different events where Black Star Sound plays so keep those ears wide open!

On Reggae on the Beach II, the second beach party organised by Black Star Foundation on Blijburg (Aug. 27 2005), Black Prophet was being filmed and interviewed by Mocca, the daily Urban lifestyle programm on The Box TV in Holland. The programm will be broadcasted on Wednesday Nov. 16 2005 at 16.40 (and again on Thurday Nov. 17 2005 at 22.45) on The Box!
